Welcome to Yoga by Bridget!       
 I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach yoga and lead people in calming the mind and body, while trying to link them together! It’s so exciting that you are on this journey of self discovery, self love and appreciation for health. Yoga is an amazing way to obtain both strong minds and bodies.  Through asana, grounding ourselves, pranayama and meditation, we can connect to ourselves internally, in ways not thought possible. Yoga, meditation and breathing exercises are great for gaining flexibility, strength in the core, relieving stress, anxiety and  so much more. I teach weekly in studio and online. I also offer private and semi private yoga sessions both in person and online. I love to facilitate yoga retreats, where we relax, reset the nervous system through yoga, guided meditation, connection, pranayama and calming crafts.I also love to do SUP buddy paddles, where I go out and paddle with you or a private group,  private events, Ceremonies and Guided Meditation classes as well. Reach out to me with any questions! I can’t wait to connect with you on this journey!

My Classes

Regularly practicing yoga has countless advantages, from increased focus and heightened flexibility, to advancing your practice, better posture, stress reduction and more. In each of my classes I aim to weave these areas together, helping you to achieve more freedom and stability in each pose.

I have experience teaching beginners, basic, multilevel, gentle flow, hot yoga, SUP (I’m certified) and forest-inspired yoga.

Group Session

Bring the class to you! Semi private/ group classes are great for a girls night in, an event or date night. It’s a great way to get your practice in. All of the same benefits of a 1-on-1 session, just in a bigger group.

Private Session

The Private Session allows you to dive deeper into your yoga practice. Each session is tailored for your individual needs, and includes adjustments and alignment cues to strengthen poses, personal attention,  guided meditation, pranayama and optional chanting. These sessions are rich in yoga and content. Feel free to ask away for all of your yoga questions! This is a popular service, great for gifting as well. Book one today!

Online private session

My Online private class is great for when you’re on the go for work, vacation, or when travel is not feasible for an in-person session.  Each class is tailored to your personal needs. Since the session is tailored to you, book online today!

Certifications and yoga background 

I am 500+ hours yoga teacher trained and certified in beginners, basic, Forrest inspired yoga, hot yoga, SUP (buddy paddles are so much fun!) multilevel, and Bhakti. My classes are well rounded in the practice, containing pranayama, asana, guided meditation, harmonium playing and chanting. Have questions on any of these? Yoga Retreats

If you are looking for yoga, guided meditation, rest, great food, connection with like-minded women and more then my weekend retreats are for you! We will convene with a tribe of amazing like-minded women for rest, daily yoga & guided meditation, an energetic cleansing & manifesting ceremony, walks in nature, crafts by the fire and more. All of our delicious, healthy meals will be catered by an incredible chef. All About Yoga by Bridget

My journey with yoga started 10 years ago when I walked into my first class in Israel. It was completely in Sanskrit and Hebrew, and I could not understand a word!  5 months later, I was fluent in Hebrew and loving all aspects of yoga. Since then, my goal has been to help connect body and mind. Situated in the New York area,  with each class I teach, I incorporate a variety of traditional practices in movement, pranayama, meditation and chanting to help each student benefit from all aspects of the practice. Chanting actually ties the frayed ends of the nerves together (true fact!), so it’s no wonder people feel a deep connection to vibrational sounds. Are you ready to make a positive change in your lifestyle?
